Hello! This is Melissa from Vancouver, B.C. Back in 1984, my famliy and I lived on Knightcott Gardens for the winter term.

My father, Dave, worked for Coombe Lodge and my mother Sheila was often to be found in the village library or exploring the town. My sister Maia went to Churchill School and I attended Banwell Primary under the vigilant gaze of Mr. Skane and Headmaster Richardson. I recall going to Girl Guides as well, in the Youth Club hall - and the Rememberance Sunday parade to St. Andrews in particular.

I would love to hear from any Banwellians who remember these stray Canadians and would like to keep in touch. We have wonderful memories of Banwell, and often wonder what happened to our old friends.
